Betty trip to Boone Tavern for lunch with Rick - PRESCRIPTION -

In this video, Betty and lunch at Rick Boone Tavern Restaurant in Berea, Kentucky. Boone Tavern Restaurant is part of Berea College, and many of the restaurant workers are students. The university began in late 1800, the admission of promising students, but do not pay tuition or room and board costs. Addressing this financial support, each student is working up to ten hours a week in one of the 130 or so jobs at the school, some of which are in the restaurant. L 'Restaurant, built in 1909 and in operation since then, except for the closing for renovation several times in recent years. This restaurant is very old and was seen by many celebrities, has been visited by President Calvin Coolidge, the Dalai Lama and many poets, including Robert Frost, and businessmen like Henry Ford. Rick and I have meals at Boone Tavern times over the years, had only an hour's drive, about half of our house. We had dinner last nightThe fall show kitchen betty. This time we decided to show us what it's like lunch at Boone Tavern. The menu is short and the points are easier in general. Spoon Bread is served with all meals for lunch and dinner, and Boone Tavern is known for his Spoon Bread. Rick and I started to warm with butter Spoon Bread. Then he ordered a hamburger topped with potato salad pepper cheese baked and iced tea loaded, while Rick chose the fried catfish dinner, which comes with fries, coleslaw...
